Alex Gazan

Gazan has shown characteristics of an athlete who can earn podiums and win big competitions for a couple years…and then she won the first ever tour stop in WFP’s history earlier this season. She gambled on herself during the qualifying stages for the CrossFit Games, put all her eggs in the NorCal Classic, and won that too. The trajectory seemed sky high, and everyone was excited to see how competitive she could be at the Games. Unfortunately, a car accident prevented us from seeing that, and also from having her at the second Tour Stop. 

All signs are pointing towards Gazan’s recovery going well, and fans can still expect to see her twice more this year, at the Rogue Invitational, and then at the WFP Finals. A healthy Gazan is a podium threat at any competition, but, if the goal is retaining a Pro Card for 2026, she’ll need to place 17th or better to keep that dream alive.
