Andrea Solberg

Solberg is the third and final Norwegian Kriger Challenger in the Finals field, but, unlike the other two, she saw a notable improvement from Indianapolis to Mesa.

At both competitions she had three workouts in which she placed 20th or lower, but the other four workouts tell the story. At Tour Stop 1 they were 19th, 19th, 17th, and 10th… however at Tour Stop 2, she began the weekend taking seventh on the 2-mile run, fourth on Mesa Pro 2, and came back Saturday morning with a third place finish on Pro 3, before finishing the weekend with a fifth on Pro 5. Those workouts happened to feature some of her best movements historically in running, handstand pushups, deadlifts, and handstand walking. 

Solberg has put herself in a great position with regards to the Pro Card race, and if she gets a few opportunities to capitalize on her specialities in Denmark, a top ten finish is certainly within reach as her strengths seem to be weaknesses for several other women in the field.
