Aniol Ekai

The second Spaniard in the men’s Pro Field, Aniol Ekai, is coming off perhaps his best ever competition finish of seventh at Tour Stop 2 in Mesa. Of all global competitions, the average ranking for men was highest in Mesa of any competition this year, and his finish against the strongest ranked field is a major testament to his upside. 

It wasn’t really the slam dunk or home runs, that bumped him up the leaderboard that high either. He started slow with a 17th and 15th on day one, but then reeled off five-straight finishes of 11th or higher and slowly picked off competitors, who on paper would not have expected to find themselves behind Ekai; who will be looking to ride this momentum into the Finals.
