Lundekvam is the second Norwegian “Kriger Athlete” Challenger who has battled through both qualifiers and both Tour Stops to earn a spot in the Finals at Copenhagen, and it’s not the only place she’s been putting her name on the competition map in the last twelve months.
She claimed seventh place in Dubai last December, then placed fifth at the Nor Cal Classic in June, and finally, between WFP tour stops, she won the CrossFit Games with the CrossFit Oslo Kriger team.
The additional travel and competitions between tour stops may have contributed to the regression from 13th to 21st from Indianapolis to Mesa; but the way she closed out Tour Stop 1, with four consecutive top-10 finishes, vaulted her up the leaderboard and captured the attention of many is what we’re looking forward to seeing more of in Denmark.
