Ty Jenkins is the youngest athlete in the men’s field for the Finals in Copenhagen. He’s only two seasons removed from wrapping up one of the most impressive teenage careers ever seen, winning three-straight CrossFit Games teen titles from 2021 to 2023. He’s shown a rare ability to parlay that success into the elite division at an age that not many teens have been able to do up to this point.
At the first tour stop he nearly maximized his points, placing second in the Challenger division. He improved his online qualifier performance to earn a spot in the Pro field for Tour Stop 2 where he looked very much at home. His range of finishes there went from eighth on Mesa Pro 1 (a two-mile run) to 24th on Mesa Pro 4B (the 1-rep max clean). By the end of the competition he settled into 21st, ahead of four of the signed Pros this year.
He seems to be finding his legs in the extremely competitive men’s field and it would not be surprising to see him improve on that 21st place finish in Copenhagen too.
