The Rec League keeps the momentum going with quarterly goals, fresh programming, and a flexible format that works for both athletes and gyms. It’s fun, it’s repeatable, and it makes competition part of your training—not just a one-off.

Prizes will be sent to top finishers by World Fitness Project. To claim a prize, your score must have a validated video submission or be validated by doing it at a Fitness Project gym.
The pro division is our Rx while the minor league is our scaled. Sign up for the division you feel most comfortable with!
Yes, the workout can be performed at any gym, including home gyms. The workouts do not have to be completed at a Fitness Project gym.
Filming your workout is not required. However, to receive a validated score, your workout must either:
To claim a prize for a top podium finish, your score MUST be validated by one of the two methods above.
If a podium finisher does not provide a valid video or complete the workout at a Fitness Project location, their score will be rejected and moved to the bottom of the leaderboard.
If you’re not aiming for a podium spot, you do not need to provide a video or perform the workout at a Fitness Project facility.

The Rec League is an online-only competition that does not act as a qualifier for in-person competitions. It is a test of fitness to be performed on your own and within your gym community.
Adaptive divisions follow the general functional fitness division requirements. If you are unsure of which division you qualify to sign up for please email gyms@worldfitnessproject.com
Once the leaderboard closes, Fitness Project gym owners will have 48 hours to validate, reject, or adjust their members’ scores. After that window, any scores in podium positions that have not been validated by a Fitness Project gym owner will be rejected.
