For the first time in competitive fitness, athletes in the World Fitness Project (WFP) season have the opportunity to compete against their peers at major, live competitions multiple times in the same year AND retain the points earned at each of those competitions.

For fans and athletes alike who are used to competitions starting at 0 points and seeking out the best performer within one stand alone competition, this is a new way of digesting a fitness competition.

At the Finals this year, you will see a leaderboard that is the result of the athletes collective body of work throughout the season including their Finals points allocation.

Below is a list of FAQs to help you follow along throughout the Finals in this new format for scoring and ranking athletes.

Who qualifies for the Finals?

There are two paths to the Finals for this season:

  • Be a signed pro and accept the invitation
  • Be a challenger and earn enough points to qualify

Do athletes in the Finals start with 0 points?

No, they will begin with the points they’ve accumulated on Tour throughout the season.

How are points accumulated in the Finals?

Their performance at the Finals will be reflected in terms of touring points that correspond to their placement at the Finals after each workout.

What leaderboard will be shown throughout the Finals?

At the Finals, athletes will appear on the leaderboard based on the total Tour points earned at both Tour stops plus the Finals; the maximum points available on the season-long leaderboard is 2000.

Why are points going up and down throughout the Finals?

As athletes placement in the Finals goes up and down from workout to workout, their allocated points will also go up and down reflecting the corresponding points awarded to each placement.

Who will stand on the podium at the end of the competition?

The male and female athlete who accumulate the most points throughout the tour stops and the finals will earn the title of World Fitness Project Champion. The second and third highest points earners across the entire season will be second and third, etc.

What do athletes have to do to get a Pro Card for 2026?

The 20 men and 20 women with the most Tour points at the end of the Finals, adding their total Tour points from all three competition stops together, will be offered Pro Card contracts for the 2026 WFP season.
