Every season builds toward one moment: the World Championships. In December, the world’s best athletes will take the floor in Copenhagen to crown the inaugural World Fitness Champions. But before the bright lights, the World Fitness Trials will be the qualifying grounds for teams and duos.

The Trials aren’t just another qualifier. They are the last chance for Teams and Duos to prove they belong on the biggest stage of the year. For three weeks in October, athletes from across the globe will log in, throw down, and test their fitness against the best athletes in the sport.

Why the Trials Matter

The Trials are the last opportunity for Teams of 4 and Duos of 2 to earn their spot at the World Championships. Think of the Trials as the final filter. If you missed your shot in Indianapolis or Mesa, or if your squad is coming together late in the season, the door is wide open for you to write your story and gain momentum for the 2026 season.

The Structure

  • Dates: October 6–26, 2025
  • Format: Six total workouts across three weeks, with two released each week.

This format is deliberate and it rewards consistency, not just one standout performance. Athletes will be able to compete each workout individually, anywhere in the world. Each team captain will be responsible for entering thier team member's scores for all workouts to create their total team score.

Divisions

Teams of 2 (MM or FF)

  • Masters (35–49)
  • Masters (50+)
  • Next Gen (14–16)
  • Next Gen (17–19)

Teams of 4 (MM/FF)

  • Elite
  • Intermediate
  • Scaled

These categories give athletes across age groups and experience levels the opportunity to push for Copenhagen. Whether you are a Masters or Next Gen athlete there is a pathway here.

What’s at Stake

The Trials aren’t about participation. They are about qualification. The top finishers will secure their tickets to the Finals, where they’ll compete alongside the world’s elite for titles, recognition, and a place in history as part of WFP’s first championship season.

For many, this will be the chance to take their community with them to the global stage. The Finals in Copenhagen aren’t just an event — they are the culmination of a season designed for athletes, by athletes.
